Information about the client
The client operates within the cruise and passenger shipping sector. Their current software ecosystem consists of several core systems:

  • Seaware/Versonix: Shore-based commercial core and booking
  • MXP/MarineXchange: Onboard guest experience and operations
  • Hotel PMS: Onboard property management
  • Kongsberg Maritime: Operational vessel technology
  • Xledger: Finance and accounting
  • Adonis & Simployer: Crewing and HR

They are now looking for a consultant to help drive automation, implement AI, and introduce new ways of working. The ultimate goal is to bridge the gaps between these systems, increase operational speed, and maximize business value.

Information about the project
The main objective is to automate workflows across the entire revenue chain - connecting onboard operations (MXP) with shore-based systems (Seaware). This will improve revenue capture, eliminate manual processes, and ensure a seamless data flow into finance (Xledger) and reporting.

Work tasks

  • System Integration: Build robust integrations between MXP, Seaware, and Xledger using APIs and GraphQL.
  • Process Automation: Automate revenue and operational workflows across shore and vessel operations.
  • Analytics & BI: Set up business intelligence and data analytics to track revenue and profit streams.
  • AI Implementation: Explore and implement AI use cases, such as personalized sales recommendations or guest self-service solutions.
  • Documentation: Document all developed solutions and ensure a smooth handover to the internal team.

Qualifications

  • Role: You are a Solution Architect, Integration Engineer, AI Engineer or similar with experience in commercial systems.
  • Technical Skills: Strong background in API/GraphQL integration, AI, data engineering, and BI.
  • Industry Experience is a plus: Background from reservation, cruise, or hospitality systems. Experience with Versonix Seaware or MarineXchange MXP is a significant advantage.
  • Business Acumen: Understanding of revenue management and commercial operations.
