Senior Test Lab Engineer within Electronics

Role Overview:
We are seeking a hands-on and experienced Senior Test Engineer to join our R&D Electronics team. This role involves practical and technical work across electronic testing, verification, and long-term reliability assessments. You will be instrumental in ensuring the performance and robustness of our electronic systems, including PCBA, cable harnesses, motor drives, and embedded controllers.
Key Responsibilities:
Prototype Assembly: Participate in the building and integration of electronic prototypes, including mechanical and electrical components.
PCBA Modifications & Rework: Perform precise modifications and rework on printed circuit board assemblies.
Cable Harness Creation: Design and assemble custom cable harnesses for prototypes and test setups.
Mechanical Assembly: Assemble electronic systems including enclosures, connectors, and mechanical interfaces.
Test Planning & Execution:
Develop and execute long-term and stress test plans.
Set up and monitor environmental and electrical stress tests.
Maintain test documentation and logs.
Board & Sample Verification:
Conduct functional and performance verification of prototype boards and samples.
Collaborate with design engineers to validate new designs.
Electronic Load Setup: Configure and operate electronic loads for power testing and endurance evaluations.
Motor Drive Testing: Test and verify BLDC motor drive systems under various load and control conditions.
Embedded Systems Testing: Work with STM32 microcontrollers and related firmware to validate embedded functionality.
Troubleshooting & Debugging: Identify and resolve issues in electronic assemblies and test setups.
Continuous Improvement: Provide feedback to design and production teams to improve product reliability and manufacturability.
Qualifications & Experience:
Minimum 5 years of experience in electronics testing or development.
Strong hands-on skills in electronics lab work and mechanical assembly.
Proficient with STM32 microcontrollers and embedded systems.
Experience with BLDC motor drives and control systems.
Familiarity with electronic loads, oscilloscopes, multimeters, and other test equipment.
Ability to read and interpret schematics, datasheets, and mechanical drawings.
Practical mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Strong documentation and communication skills.
Fluent in English (written and spoken).
Preferred Skills:
Experience with environmental testing (temperature, humidity, vibration).
Knowledge of EMC testing and compliance.
Familiarity with test automation tools and scripting (e.g., Python, LabVIEW).
Experience in a product development environment
