2 x Technology Architect

In order to comply with new CSRD reporting requirements the client has setup an initiative to develop and implement ESG related reporting and operating model changes. Within the Business Support Domain they are responsible for the Business, Data, IT Application and Technology Architecture. To support the ESG initiative they require temporary strengthening of the Technology Architecture team. It requires experienced Architects with a background in ESG reporting ideally from a process, technology and data perspective.

You will be working in a team for digital delivery including Digital Leads and architects amongst others and be responsible to drive and develop the application and infrastructure architecture for an area of ESG ensuring its architecture fits together in context of the sub-domain and the technology landscape, in order for teams to deliver outcomes. This includes defining the future architecture direction for an area within ESG, the coexistence with legacy, defining boundaries of digital products and where to implement what capabilities in the Sub-domain from a total landscape perspective. It involves defining the enterprise data objects in a standard canonical data format from a technology perspective and its fit to the total Data Model for the client. Being responsible for defining the information flow between products and legacy within an area and across the landscape and to resolve architecture topics in significant landscape changes affecting the sub-domain. You'll receive day to day guidance and steering from Digital Lead Architect and report into the Enterprise Architect for the Business Support Domain.

Requirements:
You should have experience from previous CSRD or ESG related reporting projects from a Business, Data, IT Application and Technology Architecture perspective. Have an ability to influence decisions at several levels the company – from Sub-domain to Engineer. Should be able to drive architecture work for an area of the technology landscape coexisting legacy (own developed) and bought products (e.g. SAP) to solve deep technical problems in a landscape transforming with several business models. You should have deep knowledge of Enterprise Architecture, analytics/reporting and retailing as well as be capable of driving a common purpose across diverse stakeholders and set long term strategic direction and manage its trade offs. You are familiar and comfortable to work in an outcome-led business environment, across application and infrastructure architecture.

The client would like to see 3-5 years of experience in leading architecture work with 4 years in an Enterprise Architecture context. Retail industry or consumer package goods/manufacturing experience preferred ideally in an international context.

Experience from companies operating in global markets and its challenges is key and strong leadership skills on influencing and collaborating with stakeholders based on strong communication in written and verbal.

Deep knowledge of ESG, CSRD and related technologies is a must. The ideal candidate will deliver outcomes in context of driving a strategic agenda.
