AI Architect/ consultant

Role: AI Consultant

We are looking for an Experienced AI Consultant to join a software company to help integrate and optimize AI-driven development processes. The project focuses on establishing best practices for AI adoption, defining operating models before coding begins, and building automated, agent-driven workflows across the entire software development lifecycle—from specification creation to automated pull request merging.

Tech-wise we're looking for:

  • AI development tools and assistants (Claude Code, Cursor)
  • Issue tracking and documentation (Jira, Confluence)
  • Version control and DevOps (GitLab)
  • Understanding of the client's core languages: Java, TypeScript, PHP
  • Workflow automation and trigger chain setup (e.g., routing a Datadog error to a Jira ticket and ultimately to a PR)
  • PR automation tools for QA (SonarQube), Security (Aikido), and Risk Analysis (custom agents)

Soft-skills we're looking for:

  • Strong advisory skills to design operating models (e.g., determining whether specs should be created in Jira or Claude)
  • Ability to define clear boundaries and rules for AI agents (what they must, can, and cannot do)
  • Expertise in context management for AI tools
  • Independent problem-solving to drive the project forward where internal bandwidth is limited

Start: Flexible / asap

Duration: End of the year 2026

Location: Remote
(with occasional visits to Jyväskylä; offices also available in Jyväskylä, Helsinki and Tampere)

Language: Finnish

Other: The ideal candidate will have prior experience setting up seamless integrations between AI coding assistants, project management software, and code repositories.
