Senior AI Enablement Engineer (Confidential client)

A large business software client is looking for a senior engineer to join an existing AI Enablement team and help teams adopt AI as a practical part of the software development lifecycle. The focus is not on isolated AI experiments, but on finding useful workflows, helping teams apply them in practice, and turning what works into repeatable ways of working.

What you’ll do

• Help development teams integrate AI into everyday engineering work, from coding to other parts of the SDLC.
• Identify high-value use cases and help teams move quickly from experimentation to practical adoption.
• Support the development of shared patterns, practices, and capabilities that can be reused across teams.
• Work across teams to challenge existing ways of working and enable more effective, AI-native delivery.
• Share knowledge and help teams understand where AI adds real value — without adding unnecessary complexity.

You’re comfortable with

• Strong software development background and hands-on engineering experience.
• Proven experience using AI tools in software development and modern AI-assisted workflows.
• Working across teams as an enabler, sparring partner, and technical coach.
• Pragmatic engineering: choosing solutions based on customer and developer value rather than platform elegance.
• Thinking beyond individual tools or use cases and helping shape repeatable, scalable ways of working.
• Strong communication and the confidence to challenge, explain, and influence.
