Role: Data Scientist — Demand Forecasting
This project focuses on demand forecasting within the industrial and manufacturing sector. The role involves building, evaluating, and refining statistical and time-series models while transforming complex operational and business data into practical, high-impact forecasting solutions.
Start: ASAP / As soon as possible
Duration: 3–6 months (estimated)
Location: Helsinki Metropolitan Area, Finland (Partially Onsite)
Language: Finnish & English
Tech-wise we're looking for:
- Applied data science and statistical modeling
- Demand forecasting and time-series modeling
- Experience building, evaluating, and refining forecasting models
- Practical experience working with real operational and business data
Soft-skills we're looking for:
- Strong stakeholder collaboration and the ability to translate business requirements into practical modeling solutions
