Senior / Lead Electronics Engineer

The role
A well-established Norwegian technology company developing advanced hardware products is scaling its electronics organisation and needs an experienced engineer to take a leading, hands-on role. This is a technical lead position first and a people-management one second: you will drive electronics tasks day to day, set technical direction, and be the heavy hitter the team leans on across active project phases, from concept and initial design through test and validation.

What you'll do

• Own and drive electronics work in the lab: troubleshooting, design updates, verification
• Provide technical leadership and direction to a growing electronics team
• Work across projects at different maturity levels, from early design to test and validation
• Be the senior point of reference others escalate to

What we're looking for

• 8+ years in electronics engineering, with the depth to lead technically
• Strong hands-on lab capability (you still like getting into the work, not just directing it)
• Solid coverage across a subset of: analog and/or digital electronics design
• PCB design and layout; embedded systems and hardware/firmware integration; testing, verification and troubleshooting
• Experience from product-development environments an advantage
• Comfortable basing out of Oslo with travel to a lab in Vestland for testing (or based in Vestland), roughly 2 to 3 days a week on site.
