We are seeking an experienced and visionary AI Lead in our client’s AI transformation. In this position, you will become part of one of the financial sector's most significant AI initiatives, setting the direction for the future of modern software development. This project involves driving a major AI transformation initiative for a prominent financial services and insurance provider. The role serves as a hands-on change agent and technical coach, bridging strategic vision with practical implementation across a complex, multi-vendor ecosystem of roughly 800 developers. The objective is to scale AI-assisted development from isolated pilots into a structured, team-driven capability boost that delivers measurable improvements in end-to-end throughput.

Start: ASAP / August 2026

Duration: Fixed-term consulting assignment

Location: Helsinki Metropolitan Area (Hybrid)

Language: English (Finnish is a plus)

In this role, you won't just consult at a high level—you will be a hands-on change agent. In addition to assessing teams' AI maturity levels, you will directly help selected pilot teams elevate their capabilities. You will work as part of the transformation team but drive progress directly at the development team level, working side-by-side with the developers.

Tech-wise we're looking for:

• Strong technical background in Fullstack development and AI integration.
• Deep understanding of the entire software development lifecycle, including specifications, testing, and integration layers.
• Hands-on expertise with generative AI tools (such as GitHub Copilot) and Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Ability to define and implement developer productivity, quality, and E2E lead-time metrics.

Soft-skills we're looking for:

• Coaching and mentorship mindset to lead pilot teams by example and upskill developers.
• Strong change management capabilities to break down knowledge silos and transform daily working habits.
• Vendor management expertise with the confidence to evaluate, challenge, and raise standards for external partners and offshore teams.
• Business-oriented and proactive communication style to align technical teams with management goals.
