FTE GCP engineer / Senior Cloud Engineer

Role: FTE GCP engineer / Senior Cloud Engineer

This is a large-scale cloud transformation project within the public sector healthcare domain. The project focuses on migrating legacy applications to a new GCP-based virtualization environment. The role involves driving the practical application migration work, with a critical focus on setting up authentication, identity management, and security controls, working alongside an established Lead Architect.

Start: ASAP/ August 2026 / Full-time (100% allocation).

Duration: Until December 31, 2026 (with a potential extension option for Q1/2027)

Location: Remote / Helsinki, Finland (occasional meetings may be required)

Language: Finnish

Other: Prior experience working on public sector or healthcare/social services initiatives is highly advantageous. The consultant will operate within a structured partner framework, receiving full technical backend support from the delivery team.

Tech-wise we're looking for:

  • Robust, multi-project Google Cloud Platform (GCP) experience
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC) proficiency using Terraform
  • SAML, Identity, and IAM configurations
  • Experience with Google Cloud Security Command Center (SCC)
  • Application development background to understand legacy software architectures (Asset)
  • Google Workspace configuration skills (Asset)

Soft-skills:

  • Strong hands-on, proactive attitude to independently execute migrations
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills
