Frontend oriented Fullstack Developer

Team's day-to-day work (this role is front-end oriented)

• Design and build member-facing digital experiences for Plus members across web and app
• Own features end to end on the front-end, from the UI through to the services directly behind them
• Continuously improve the quality, performance, and reliability of the loyalty digital experience
• Contribute to the ongoing renewal and modernization of the team's digital products

What we're looking for

• Strong, hands-on front-end engineering with Angular and TypeScript, with proven references from comparable public-facing apps — complex, business-critical, high-traffic. This is mainly a web front-end role (not React Native).
• Genuine full-stack capability — comfortable reaching into the Node.js/TypeScript services behind your own features (and Java/Spring where needed).
• Front-end leaning, but not front-end only. We already have strong backend coverage, so we're not looking for a pure backend, AWS, or cloud specialist.
• Strong observability experience — building systems that are observable in production: structured logging, metrics, crash/error analytics, performance monitoring and alerting, and actually using that data to find and fix problems before members feel them.
• Genuine seniority and ownership. Capable of driving work forward independently, engaging stakeholders directly, and challenging existing approaches when something doesn't add up.
• Product-driven mindset — understands that technical and UX decisions affect customer experience and business outcomes, not just code quality.
• Top-notch collaboration and proactivity. You spot problems and opportunities early, raise them, and move things forward rather than wait.

Bonus points

• Strong grasp of automated testing and writing code and designs that are testable by design
• Ecommerce platform experience
• Familiarity with our AWS-based delivery (CDK, Docker) as a consumer of the platform

• Start: During August
• Duration: Until end of the year 2026 (+possible extension)
• Allocation: 100%
• Location: Helsinki metropolitan area (due to onsite requirement at least once a week candidate must be located at Finland and preferably at Helsinki metropolitan area)
• Language: Fluent English
