.NET & Azure Security Engineer

We are seeking a Mid-to-Senior level .NET & Azure Security Engineer for an estimated 1-month contract to build a critical Proof of Concept (PoC). The goal of this sprint is to implement a reliable, infrastructure-level authentication layer for our customer application pilots.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will own the technical execution of the authentication layer PoC.

Your main focus areas will be:

  • Library Development: Designing, writing, and thoroughly testing a dedicated, reusable .NET-based authentication library that our application pilots can easily leverage.
  • Cloud Architecture & Configuration: Assisting with the deployment and configuration of Microsoft Entra External ID.
  • Integration: Ensuring seamless integration utilizing Azure Web Apps' integrated authentication mechanisms.

What We Are Looking For
-Seniority: Mid-to-Senior level expertise in cloud identity and .NET backend development.

  • Technical Stack:Strong proficiency in .NET / C# (specifically for building reusable libraries/SDKs).
  • Hands-on experience with Azure Web Apps and cloud-native authentication.
  • Solid understanding of Microsoft Entra External ID (formerly Azure AD External Identities) or Azure AD B2C.
  • Language Skills: Professional working proficiency in English is mandatory. Knowledge of Finnish is considered a strong asset.
  • Location: Remote, but you must be based in Finland for compliance and collaboration purposes.

  • Start Date: Mid-August
  • Duration: 1 month (PoC phase)
  • Allocation: 100% (Full-time commitment)
  • Location: Remote (Must reside in Finland)
  • Extension Potential: Yes, successful completion may lead to extensions in other projects with the same client.
