Personalization Data Lead (Finnish speaking / Finance sector)

The project involves defining, building, and driving a personalization and recommendation capability for a major mobile application within the highly regulated financial ecosystem. The objective is to realize a strategic vision by dynamically connecting unique, high-value data sources to deliver an unprecedented personalized customer experience.

The selected expert will operate within a conservative, highly secure, and compliant customer environment. They will navigate complex banking legislation and strict data privacy regulations to determine what data can be ethically and legally combined to optimize user engagement.

Responsibilities:

Lead the Personalization Strategy: Drive the end-to-end planning and implementation of personalization capabilities and recommendation algorithms within the mobile application.
Data Architecture & Governance: Map out the framework for combining complex, sensitive customer datasets while adhering to strict banking legislation and data privacy standards.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as the strategic bridge between business visionaries, data engineering teams, and AI specialists to translate customer experience goals into technical solutions.
Team & Capability Building: Lay the groundwork for a dedicated personalization team, defining required roles and scaling up practices as the project evolves

Qualifications and technical skills:

Domain Expertise: Strong background in the financial/banking sector with a solid understanding of data sensitivity, compliance, and financial regulations.
Technical Experience: Proven track record of architecting, deploying, or managing personalization engines and recommendation algorithms at scale.
Ecosystem Familiarity: Experience working with large-scale consumer applications (experience with banking, retail, loyalty data, or consumer media is highly regarded).
Security & Compliance: Capability to pass a comprehensive standard security clearance.
Soft Skills & Mindset: Senior-level consultancy mindset, strong stakeholder management skills, and the capability to systematically solve complex "hairball" data puzzles in a traditional, regulated environment.
