Senior Frontend Engineer – Agent Operations

You would join the customer Agent Operations team in Helsinki, building the internal platform that powers customer, courier, and merchant support across our customer global ecosystems. Customer tools serve thousands of concurrent support agents and sit on top of an in-house chat platform handling tens of millions of conversations every month.

They are building a next-generation, unified support workspace—featuring a real-time inbox, multi-channel communications, a centralized resolutions toolkit, and supervisor tooling—used daily by support agents across dozens of markets. Every second they save an agent and every screen they simplify directly shapes the experience of over 25 million customers and 300k+ partners who rely on them.

Key Responsibilities

• End-to-End Ownership: Own the frontend implementation of complex features from design collaboration to final production rollout.
• Architecture & Quality: Drive frontend architecture decisions and raise the technical bar across the team.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with backend engineers, product managers, and designers to translate ambiguous problems into well-scoped, shippable solutions.
• Performance: Ensure high performance, scalability, and accessibility ($a11y$) across various browsers and devices.
• Codebase Health: Contribute to the long-term health of the codebase through robust testing, continuous refactoring, and constructive code reviews.

Technical Profile & Expectations

• Senior Expertise: Senior-level frontend experience with a strong architectural focus on React and TypeScript.
• Scalability: Proven experience in building scalable, efficient, and maintainable frontend applications.
• Product Mindset: Strong product thinking—the ability to actively participate in product conversations, challenge proposed solutions, and drive tech decisions.
• Autonomy: Comfortable operating independently in a fast-moving, cross-functional environment.
• Testing: Strong experience with frontend testing tools (e.g., unit testing with Jest, React Testing Library) is highly valued.
• Soft Skills: Curiosity, willingness to learn, excellent stakeholder communication, and a self-organized, outcome-driven mindset.

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience working on internal tooling, admin platforms, dashboard architectures, or other complex, data-dense UIs.
