Our manufacturing client is looking for C++ & Qt Developers to join their team. We are seeking senior-level engineers capable of taking significant responsibility in demanding projects. The product you'll be working on includes solutions for the Finnish Defence Forces.

Start: Asap
Duration: about 6 months (end of 2026)
Language: Proficiency in both Finnish and English.
Primary location: Jyväskylä (Priority 1) or Tampere (Priority 2).
Hybrid model: Remote work is possible, but a minimum of 50% physical presence on-site is required.
Allocation: 100%

Mandatory Requirements:

  • Education: Applicable university degree (M.Sc., B.Sc., or equivalent).
  • Security Clearance: The candidate must be eligible for a Finnish security clearance (Tursel)
  • Strong expertise in C++ programming
  • Strong expertise in the Qt framework
  • Senior-level experience with the ability and willingness to act as a Lead Developer for specific modules or entities when required.
  • Strong ability to work independently and take initiative.

Preferred Skills:

  • Hardware Integration: Experience with interfaces and device control.
  • Networking Protocols: Practical knowledge of TCP/IP, UDP, Multicast, WebSockets, etc.
  • Messaging & Architecture: Experience with bus solutions and pub-sub architectures (e.g., MQTT, Kafka, RabbitMQ).
  • AI Development: The client is currently establishing best practices for utilizing AI in software development. Experience in AI development and the ability to provide strategic insight into this area is a significant advantage.
