The customer is a prominent global manufacturing and service company headquartered in Finland. While the organization has already made significant strides in AI, they are now looking to further speed up development and mature their internal capabilities. The project focuses on empowering development teams to make informed, future-proof decisions regarding AI implementation. Depending on the final role scope determined during the interview process, you will either act as a strategic champion to guide high-level direction or integrate directly into development projects as a hands-on Architect.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Advisory: Assist development teams in selecting the most appropriate AI tools and frameworks for their specific use cases.
  • Architectural Design: Define and oversee the implementation of robust architectures, for example on LLMs, RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), and agentic frameworks.
  • Best Practices: Establish standards for enterprise-grade AI development to ensure scalability and reliability.
  • Collaboration: Act as a bridge between technical teams and business objectives to ensure AI initiatives deliver tangible value.
  • Project Leadership (for 100% allocation): Take a proactive, hands-on lead in development projects, ensuring architectural integrity from inception to deployment.

Qualifications and technical skills:

  • GenAI Expertise: A strong professional background in AI development, with a deep specialization in the Generative AI space.
  • Architectural Breadth: Extensive experience with a wide array of AI tools, LLM providers, and modern patterns like RAG and AI Agents.
  • Engineering Foundation: A solid background in software development, providing a deep understanding of what it takes to build and maintain enterprise-grade software.
  • Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to various stakeholders.
  • Teamwork: A proven track record of working effectively in collaborative, multi-disciplinary team environments.

  • Project duration: 3–6 months + possible extensions
  • Allocation: 50% (Champion role) or 100% (Architect role)
  • Location requirements: Hybrid (occasional meetings in the Helsinki Metropolitan area)
  • Language requirements: English
