Who we're looking for:

We are seeking a senior Product Lead with a rare combination of retail domain expertise, AI‑driven product data experience, and strong leadership capability. This person will be accountable for the success of our product data transformation and for leading the creation of an AI‑first, end‑to‑end product information process.
The Product Lead owns the commercial success of the product data transformation. Deeply rooted in retail operations, understands how rich product information directly drives conversion, reduces return rates, and impacts the bottom line. Partners closely with category managers and vendors to solve actual retail pain point, such as accelerating "time-to-site" for new assortments, streamlining vendor onboarding, and optimizing omnichannel discoverability. Mandate is to ensure the team's AI investments are strictly tied to core retail KPIs, revenue growth, and margin improvements.

Ideal Background & Experience*:

  • Deep Retail and/or Product Data Expertise 7–10+ years experience in retail, eCommerce, marketplaces, or PIM‑heavy environments. Demonstrated understanding of how product information drives conversion, content quality, vendor onboarding, and omnichannel discoverability. Hands‑on experience improving product data flows, onboarding processes, or conversion‑driving product content.
  • Proven Track Record in AI‑Enabled Product Development: Practical, real-world experience applying LLMs, generative AI, or ML to product information, catalog management, or content automation. Has led or contributed to transformations where manual data-heavy processes were automated using AI. Good understanding of semantic data models, ontologies, or knowledge graphs (not necessarily an architect, but comfortable working with one).
  • Strong Product Leadership & Delivery Skills: Has owned a product vision and roadmap end-to-end, with responsibility for business outcomes. Able to translate complex retail pain points into clear product requirements, measurable outcomes, and prioritized backlogs. Experienced working cross‑functionally with business, IT, data engineering and vendor partners. Comfortable leading both internal and external delivery teams.
  • Strategic Thinker with Execution Power: Can create a transformation roadmap but is equally strong in pushing real outcomes within the first 3–6 months. Understands regulatory impacts (e.g., GPSR, sustainability data, origin/ingredient requirements) and how they feed into retail product information flows. Brings a pragmatic mindset—able to balance long-term architecture with near-term incremental wins.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills: Is able to inspire cross‑functional teams, translate complex AI and product data topics into clear direction, and drive organizational change with clarity, empathy and decisiveness.
