Power BI Expert

We are now looking for a Power BI Expert to join our large client company in the media sector for a long-term project.

To succeed in this role, you will need to check at least the following boxes:

• Expertise in Power BI: 2+ years of experience in full-cycle dev & environment administration (Admin Portal, workspaces, capacities).
• Data storytelling: 3+ years in visualization best practices and UX.
• Business partnering: 3+ years of stakeholder collaboration on data solutions.
• Technical core: Mastery of DAX and M-language (Power Query).
• Support & documentation: Experience in user training and process documentation.
• Fluent Finnish and English skills.
• Opportunity to visit client's premises in Helsinki metropolitan area weekly.

Ideally you also have experience with:

• Advanced Dev: Proficiency in XMLA tools (Tabular Editor, DAX Studio, ALM Toolkit) and version control.
• Architecture: Experience in Power BI REST API and usage scenarios (Self-service vs. Enterprise BI).
• Performance: Semantic model optimization and capacity monitoring (P/F-series).
• Security: Implementing RLS and OLS models.
• Strategic modeling: Designing certified datasets and requirement mapping.
• Innovation: Testing and evaluating new Power BI & Fabric features.
• Domain experience: Background in Customer/Consumer, HR, or Finance data.
