We are looking for a heavy-hitting Senior Developer who doesn't just write code but understands the "big picture" of system architecture in a modern cloud environment. Our customer goal is to build a seamless, engaging digital experience for their Loyalty Plus members. You will be a key player in migrating our customer current identity provider to a modern solution (evaluating options like Keycloak, Auth0, or AWS Cognito) while ensuring zero disruption for over 1 million active users.

What You’ll Do

  • Systems Design: Move beyond simple ticket-solving. You will design and develop authentication, authorization, and SSO solutions that scale.
  • Architecture: Build and maintain partner integrations and loyalty transaction services within an AWS environment.
  • Leadership: Use your seniority to drive technical decisions, challenge existing approaches, and mentor the team on how to build robust, secure service entities.
  • Digital Renewal: Contribute to the future of our loyalty program, enabling growth beyond traditional travel services.

Your Toolkit
We need someone who doesn't "freeze" when asked to design a multi-service entity or build new APIs from scratch in AWS.

Hard Skills:

  • Strong Backend focus: Node.js/TypeScript (and/or Java/Spring).
  • Cloud Mastery: Deep experience with AWS (CDK, microservices, serverless).
  • IAM Expertise: OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and SSO implementations.
  • Modern Frontend: Familiarity with Angular is a plus.
  • The "Senior" Factor: You have the systems design experience to build scalable architectures and the observability mindset to ensure they keep running.
  • Soft Skills: A product-driven mindset and the confidence to engage stakeholders.

Project Details

  • Start Date: As soon as we find the right match.
  • Duration: Long-term commitment (reviewed in 6-month increments).
  • Allocation: 100%
  • Location: Hybrid (minimum 1 day/week on-site in the Vantaa/Helsinki area).
  • Language: Fluent English
