PLM Specialist / Finland

We are looking for a qualified and experienced PLM Specialist to join our customer's IT and Digital Services department. This is a key position for someone who thrives on bridging the gap between technical system development and functional business processes.

Start: March 2026
Allocation: 50% for Q2-2026 and continuation will be confirmed based on normal quarter practices.
Duration: Until the end of 2026
Work type: Hybrid (The role requires on-site presence in the Kuopio-Iisalmi-Kajaani region)
Language: Finnish and English

About the role
As a PLM Specialist, you will be working on client's project for the implementation of new CAD and PLM systems. You will be responsible for the technical and system development within the implementation project.

Your role

• Gather and document detailed requirements for PLM and CAD processes.
• Configure PLM data models, lifecycles, workflows, and system permissions.
• Implement and validate CAD–PLM integrations (including check-in/out, assemblies, and drawings).
• Lead data migration efforts, including mapping, cleansing, and validation.
• Support integration between ERP/MES systems for BOM and item synchronization.
• Establish governance for data quality, naming conventions, and compliance.
• Develop training materials and support user adoption.
• Provide testing, UAT, and go-live support, including assistance during the hypercare phase.

Requirements

• At least 3+ years of experience in roles specifically related to PLM systems.
• Experience of PLM systems data models and migration.
• Proactive problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to a rapidly changing project environment.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and coaching skills.
• Willingness and ability to work on-site regularly in the Eastern/Central Finland area (Kuopio-Iisalmi-Kajaani).
