Data Engineer
We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer for a large public sector organization. The client is currently establishing a unified agent architecture, governance model, and development framework within their Azure environment. This initiative aims to create scalable and portable AI solutions that can be adapted to the specific needs of various internal departments.
The selected consultant will play a critical role in ensuring the data infrastructure supports these advanced AI capabilities. Work will primarily take place within a centralized Azure environment, with potential opportunities to implement solutions across other environments (cloud and on-premise) as the project evolves.
Responsibilities
- Designing, implementing, and maintaining data warehouses and data management pipelines within the Azure environment.
- Managing information lifecycles specifically tailored to support AI Agents and AI-driven solutions.
- Ensuring data availability, quality, and structure to enable efficient data analytics and model performance.
- Collaborating with AI Architects to align data strategies with the unified agent architecture and governance models.
- Optimizing data flows for scalability and portability across different organizational units.
Qualifications and technical skills
- Data Foundations: Strong experience in data warehousing, data management, and data analytics.
- AI Data Management: Proven expertise in information management specifically within the context of AI agents and AI solutions (e.g., handling unstructured data, vector databases, or data preparation for LLMs).
- Azure Data Stack: Proficiency in working with data within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem.
- Governance: Understanding of data governance principles required for public sector projects.
- Language: Full professional proficiency in Finnish is mandatory.
