AI Architect

We are seeking an experienced AI Agent Architect for a large public sector organization. The client aims to establish a unified agent architecture, governance model, and development framework within their Azure environment. The primary goal is to build a foundation that enables the creation of scalable, portable, and tailored AI solutions that adapt to the specific needs of various internal departments.

The selected consultant will be part of a team responsible for the development, implementation, and maintenance of these AI solutions. Work will primarily take place within a centralized Azure environment, with the potential to expand into other cloud or on-premise environments depending on organizational needs.

Responsibilities

• Designing and implementing a comprehensive Agent Architecture, including the management and integration of agents into leveraging applications.
• Developing and establishing governance models for agent architectures and AI applications.
• Implementing tailored AI solutions for specific organizational units within the centralized Azure environment.
• Ensuring the scalability and portability of the architecture to serve various internal departments.
• Utilizing AI-assisted development practices to enhance delivery efficiency.

Qualifications and technical skills

• Agent Architecture Expertise: Proven ability to design and implement agent architectures, including the lifecycle management of agents.
• Governance & Strategy: Experience in creating governance models for AI solutions and agent frameworks.
• Azure CloudOps and Infrastructure expertise: Experience in lifecycle management of Tenants, Subscriptions, and Resource Groups as well as provisioning instances and managing environment configurations.
• Quality Optimization: Strong skills in optimizing solution quality, specifically focusing on explainability (XAI), transparency, and continuous learning.
• Operational Management: Competence in managing project costs and software licensing within an AI context.
• Security & Privacy Compliance: Deep understanding of data protection and security in application development and AI solutions. This includes experience with Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIA), Transfer Impact Assessments (TIA), risk analyses, and defining architectural safeguards.
• Azure Environment: Strong technical proficiency in the Microsoft Azure ecosystem.
• Language: Full professional proficiency in Finnish is mandatory.

Summary of the practicalities

• Project start time: February 2, 2026
• Allocation: 30-100%
• Project duration: Initial increment of 4–6 months, with extension possibilities until the end of 2031
• Location requirements: Remote work allowed, with occasional on-site meetings required
• Language requirements: Finnish (Must be fluent/professional working proficiency)
