Are you a dynamic Project Manager ready to drive a critical, large-scale digital transformation? Our client, a leading Nordic energy producer committed to a thriving and sustainable future, is implementing a new, comprehensive Document Management (DM) solution across its Hydro businesses in Finland and Sweden. This isn't just a system replacement—it's a foundational change that will integrate all documentation, from standard files to 3D models, images, videos, and maps, ensuring compliance and efficiency across the board.
We are seeking an experienced and technically savvy Project Manager to take the helm of this entire initiative, from the initial planning phase (January 2026) through to successful project closure (June 2027).
The Challenge & The Opportunity
You will be responsible for the full lifecycle of the DM solution implementation, including technical execution, ensuring full compliance with essential frameworks like NIS2, and, most crucially, driving successful end-user adoption and utilization.
- Lead a Cross-Functional Team: Manage experts from IT, the Hydro business, and external suppliers.
- Drive Change: Champion change management to ensure the new system is well-received and efficiently utilized post-launch.Ensure
- Security: Oversee cyber security risk assessment and management, adhering to the highest company standards.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Lead and execute the project according to the defined schedule, budget, and requirements.
- Maintain the Project Plan and manage the Project Steering Group.
- Coordinate resources and dependencies across all project phases and other initiatives.
- Responsible for the project budget, ensuring value creation and financial follow-up.
What You Bring
We are looking for a technical project manager with exceptional people and change management skills.
Expertise Area (Must-Have)
- Project Management: 5–7 years of demonstrated experience in project management, ideally in IT and business/industry roles.
- Professional capability to run complex projects effectively.
- Technical & DM Focus: General knowledge of IT applications and implementation methodologies. Sufficient subject matter expertise in Document Management (DM) applications, system implementation, and migration projects.
Soft Skills
- Excellent Change Management, Facilitation, Communication, and Stakeholder Management skills.
- Ability to engage users throughout the project.
- Cultural fluency and experience working in diverse environments in Finland and Sweden.
Project Details
- Allocation: 100%
- Timing: January 2026 – June 2027
- Location: Company office in Solna, Sweden or Espoo, Finland.
- Hybrid working model, with travel required as project needs dictate.
- Language: Corporate language is English for all project communication. Swedish or Finnish is an advantage.
- Mandatory Requirement: Successful completion of a Security Clearance (SUPO/SÄPO) is mandatory for this role.
