Power BI Developer
We are seeking a Senior Power BI Developer to join an ongoing project for a large multinational company in the industrial manufacturing sector. The project involves a significant migration from Qlik to Power BI, with a focus on moving extensive Qlik data transformations to Databricks and dbt. The underlying data platform is built on Microsoft Fabric. As part of a large, existing team, your role is to provide extended experience and deliver key project components.
Summary of the practicalities:
- Project start time: ASAP (As soon as possible)
- Project duration: 3–4 months with possible extensions
- Location requirements: Remote + occasional on-site meetings in metropolitan Helsinki
- Language requirements: English
- Allocation: 100%
Responsibilities:
- Analyze and understand existing Qlik data models and transformations.
- Plan and design new Power BI data models.
- Coordinate with data engineers to ensure the necessary data transformations are completed on the data platform.
- Develop and implement Power BI data models and dashboards.
Qualifications and technical skills:
- Highly skilled in Power BI data modeling and dashboard development.
- Experience with Microsoft Fabric shortcuts as data sources for Power BI.
- Previous experience working on Qlik to Power BI migration projects.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with a large team.
