Lead Mobile Architect
I'm looking for a Lead Mobile Architect (Cross-platform) for a client in the aviation sector.
The project is about replacing an airline crew app (pre/post-flight routines, in-flight sales).
Current iOS/Android codebases to be rebuilt as one cross-platform app.
The client leans toward Kotlin Multiplatform (KMM) but alternatives are possible with solid rationale.
What you should do and help achieve:
-Lead architecture and delivery for the new mobile app
-Define stack and integration approach (Bluetooth peripherals, SDKs)
-Extend payments to wallet tap-to-pay (Apple Pay / Google Pay via terminal)
-Improve offline/occasionally-connected inventory sync (Bluetooth first, Wi-Fi when available)
-Collaborate with client backend teams (they own APIs)
Firm launch target: March
Must-have skills:
-Track record shipping large mobile apps and leading teams
-Cross-platform expertise (ideally KMM)
-Bluetooth peripherals and payment SDK integrations
-Strong hands-on, pragmatic leadership
Nice-to-have:
Offline-first / data reconciliation experience
Aviation or other high-reliability domains
Payment terminal certification know-how
Integrations / Open points
Bluetooth payment terminal and printer (SDKs exist; confirm printer SDK and licences)
Confirm SDK compatibility with KMM (or chosen stack)
