Senior-level UI/UX Designer

We're looking for an experienced designer for our large retail client operating primarily in the Finnish market. The client is replacing an old supplier system with a cloud service, which will be used by professionals in supplier offer and product information management around the world. Product data moves in various files, with approximately 30,000 files received per year, and current use cases for current system are: plan store selections, purchase products for stores, and provide consumers with important product information.

The goal is to make data management as smooth and intuitive as possible for users and to streamline the flow of information between suppliers and the client. The main guidelines and structure of the cloud service have been decided, and the basic functionalities have been designed already so you won't be starting from scratch. The first small package will be released in autumn 2025.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Creating solution concepts, producing prototypes, and participating in testing them with users and stakeholders.
• Taking responsibility for interaction and user interface design to a finished level, ensuring that all digital solutions are intuitive, user-friendly, and visually appealing.
• Defining and documenting how content is organized in the user interface so that it is easily discoverable for users (information architecture).
• Analyzing and prioritizing user feedback with the development team and incorporating it into designs.
• Working closely and collaborating with other designers, developers, business stakeholders, and other stakeholders to ensure a consistent and high-quality result for users.

What kind of expert are we looking for?

• You are an experienced designer with strong expertise and a proven track record in designing digital services and customer experiences. Some of your experience has been gained in B2B environments or with expert tools.
• You are passionate about developing a data-intensive expert tool and streamlining processes.
• You are accustomed to using a design system in your work and can also create new components if needed.
• You are fluent with tools like Figma, Miro, and Jira.
