Backround
We are seeking an experienced frontend developer to join our team. A strong understanding of modern web development practices, coupled with hands-on experience in design systems and design tokens, is essential for this role. You will play a leading part in bridging the gap between design and development, ensuring consistency and maintainability across the different digital products.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain high-quality, responsive, and performant user interfaces using React, Next.js, and Tailwind
• Collaborate closely with product designers to translate Figma designs and mockups into pixel-perfect, interactive frontend components.
• Actively contribute to and champion our design system
• Implement and manage design tokens to create a single source of truth for design decisions, ensuring consistency and efficient updates across the application.
• Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to peers.

Required skills:

• 3+ years of professional experience in frontend development.
• Expert proficiency with React.js and its ecosystem (hooks, context API, state management).
• Hands-on experience with Tailwind
• Demonstrable experience implementing and managing Design Tokens in a production environment. You should be able to articulate their benefits and practical application.
• Ability to write comprehensive (unit and integration) tests.

Bonus points:

• Nextjs experience
• Familiarity with Storybook, Chromatic or similar component documentation tools.
• Experience with performance optimization techniques and tools
• Playwright experience
