Team Lead

We're looking for a hands-on Team Lead for a client in the cyber security industry. The client is merging its mobile Security SDK (used by global partners) and the consumer app into a single, integrated platform and we’re looking for a hands-on Team Lead to drive the convergence of the client's mobile SDK and consumer product into one unified architecture. This unified architecture will enable faster time-to-market for new scam protection features, improved developer experience for partners, and simplified deployment across platforms.

This role is ideal for someone who has previously led productized engineering teams or platform integration efforts, particularly where mobile, SDK, and backend systems intersect. This is a unique opportunity to lead a highly skilled, cross-functional engineering team building the technical foundation of the client's future mobile security offering. You'll combine architectural decision-making, day-to-day coordination, and individual technical contribution in a high-impact leadership role.

Key responsibilities:

-Lead a team of mobile, backend, and QA engineers to deliver technical outcomes
-Guide architectural direction, technical design, and platform convergence strategy
-Coordinate backlog, sprint planning, and agile execution with internal stakeholders
-Contribute technically as needed (architecture, coding, reviewing, decision-making)
-Support cross-team collaboration and unblock challenges during fast-paced execution
-Ensure progress toward milestones while maintaining quality and team health

We’re looking for senior-level Team Lead with a strong track record in:

-Proven experience leading software teams in a hands-on capacity
-Strong background in mobile app architecture and/or cloud/backend system design
-Prior exposure to SDK development, platform integration, or product convergence
-Familiarity with AWS, CI/CD, API design, and mobile-to-cloud interoperability
-Experience working with cross-functional teams across locations and time zones
-Excellent communication skills and a pragmatic, delivery-focused mindset

In this position you’ll lead the SDK/Product Integration Team, responsible for:

-Designing and building the unified mobile architecture
-Developing shared APIs and backend services
-Integrating SDK capabilities into the Total mobile app (iOS and Android)
-Solving packaging, deployment, and system-wide activation models
-Coordinating across mobile, backend, QA, and stakeholder teams
