Team Lead / Product Owner

This role sits at the vital intersection of business, technology, and communication.

Your Role

In this position, you will:

• Translate complex architectural documentation into actionable insights for both the development team and business stakeholders.
• Act as the primary contact between the development team and the client’s broader organization.
• Support business analysts in refining technical aspects of business requirements.
• Investigate and clarify how existing systems function to ensure smooth development work.
• Participate in technical design sessions and agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, demos, and increment planning.
• Identify key stakeholders within the client organization and facilitate communication between them and the development team.
• Provide up-to-date visibility into team progress when needed, especially for management-level stakeholders.
• Deep-dive into your own area of responsibility to understand the current state and future plans.
• Document your work in a clear and structured way.

• The ability to make sense of where to find the right information within a large ecosystem, rather than needing deep expertise in all tools or technologies.
• In this role you will not be expected to write production code. You do not need either deep knowledge of specific technologies used by the client—understanding the big picture and being resourceful is more important.

Project Details

• Start: September, with a ~2-week onboarding by the current role holder.
• Duration: Long-term project running at least until 2028. We’re looking for someone who can commit for a minimum of 2 years—ideally until the end.
• Language: Fluent Finnish.
• Workload: Allocation 100%. Mostly remote, but 1–2 days per week on-site at the client’s office in Kalasatama, Helsinki.
