Software developer within analytics & optimization

Start: June - September 2025
Duration: 6 Months with possible hiring at the end
Location: Mostly remote (some presence monthly is a bonus) Norway or Finland
Allocation: 100%

Requirements:
Relevant educational background, such as a master’s degree in IT or computer science
Solid experience with Python
Demonstrated ability to build robust, production-grade backend or server-side systems
Good grasp of mathematical concepts including statistical testing, approximation, and combinatorial optimization
Hands-on experience with heuristic and combinatorial algorithms (e.g., simulated annealing, genetic algorithms), particularly in vehicle routing contexts
Understanding of algorithmic complexity
Proficiency in English

Preferred qualifications:
Experience with test-driven development, CI/CD pipelines
Familiarity with AI and machine learning techniques
Experience in PHP or C/C++
Data visualization skills

Entrepreneurial mindset with strong collaboration and communication abilities

Technology stack: Python/Cython, PHP, MySQL, Git, Jenkins
