Sr. Backend Developer

We're seeking a motivated Senior Backend Developer to join a U.S.-based client in building an exceptional user experience for next-generation water-saving solutions. You will take ownership of continuing to build out backend functionality, including expanding the data processing algorithms, microservice architecture, and overall supporting implementation of key features of their best-in-class product.

Main responsibilities include:
-Code Development: Build, test, and deploy robust backend code aligned with business objectives.
-Infrastructure: Scale and maintain backend infrastructure; support DevOps with secure, fault-tolerant, and scalable systems.
-Data Pipelines: Optimize and enhance data processing for improved product performance.
-Collaboration: Work with product teams to understand and deliver requirements; contribute to Agile Scrum workflows.
-CI/CD: Improve CI/CD pipelines with strong testing and advanced deployment tools.
-Quality Assurance: Partner with QA to uphold high code quality throughout the release cycle.

Technologies used: Elixir, PostgreSQL, TimescaleDb, C++, Grafana, GraphQL, Flutter, AWS, and IoT technologies (MQTT, etc.).

The team is divided between the USA and Finland.
