Job Purpose
The Team: Join a multidisciplinary Electronics R&D team working with a wide range of technologies including analog electronics, FPGA, SoC, power and safety design, motor controllers, processor design, and power line modems—all used in complex control system applications.
Your Role: You will contribute to the full product development lifecycle, from design and prototyping to system integration, qualification, and deployment in real-world operational environments. You'll collaborate with experts in hardware, software, systems, testing, mechatronics, and production engineering.
Job Responsibilities
Define hardware requirements alongside system and software architects and product owners
Design and develop embedded hardware systems: component selection, schematic capture, PCB layout, and prototype development
Conduct functional verification of hardware circuits, FPGA modules, and sub-assemblies
Work closely with multidisciplinary teams (systems, mechanical, PCB layout, manufacturing, reliability, software)
Develop and document test and verification procedures for environmental, functional, and manufacturing tests
Ideal Candidate Profile
Degree in electronics, automation, cybernetics, or related fields (BSc/MSc/PhD)
3–5 years’ experience in embedded hardware development and industrialization
Structured approach to problem solving
Proficient in English; collaborative and culturally adaptable
Curious, innovative, and standards-driven
Passion for electronics is a plus
Key Competencies
Digital electronic design, including high-speed serial communication (CAN, RSXXX, I2C, SPI, USB) and SoC-based systems
Strong grasp of CPUs, microcontrollers, embedded software, and signal processing
Advanced VHDL and FPGA development/verification
Proficiency in tools such as LT SPICE, MATLAB, Simulink, Python, Intel Quartus
Knowledge of embedded languages (C, C++, assembly, etc.)
Schematic and PCB design using tools like Altium Designer or similar
Familiarity with lab tools: oscilloscopes, analyzers, signal generators, simulators
Expertise in PCB layout best practices and EMC-compliant design
Design for manufacturability and testability (DFX)
Awareness of EMC and CE compliance in control systems
Understanding of safety and reliability standards (e.g., IEC 61508)
