Cloud Security Consultant

Customer (media industry) is currently looking for a Cloud Security Consultant to support evaluation of the scope and delivery of outsourced security services such as security monitoring/SOC, threat intelligence, DFIR and vulnerability scanning.

The current view on how to approach this evaluation, is to execute a RFI/RFP process with the objective to gain a better understanding on what service offerings exists for these services in today’s market and subsequently understand the impact of using these services for a selected number of respondents. Based on the insights gained in this process, next steps will be defined after completion.

The consultant that customer is looking for has a proven track record in these type of evaluations/vendor selection processes, specifically in the area of information security services and/or Managed Security Service Providers.

The selected consultant will be tasked both with structuring the process in alignment with Customer’s procurement department and also providing guidance on the content in close alignment with Customer’s security team.

Required experience:

• Extensive knowledge on cyber security threats and effective defence mechanisms against these treats is a must have in this position
• Knoweledge and understanding of the following (but not limited to) security services such as security monitoring/SOC, threat intelligence, DFIR and vulnerability scanning.
• Hands-on professional who is passionate about their work and takes a result driven and proactive approach.
• Strong experience in collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work in an international context, appreciating cultural differences and the ability to influence multiple levels within an organization

• Allocation 2-3 days per week
• Language: Fluent written and spoken English
• Location: 100% remote within Finland or Netherlands Some office travel may be required for team meetings.
