A leading company in the network optimization field is seeking a Data Engineer to join their team. This project starts with partial requirements and a provisional technical design, both of which will require refinement and iteration. Afterwards the focus will shift to a pipeline migration, transitioning from a Redshift-based infrastructure to an Apache Iceberg-based solution.

We're looking for expertise on the following:

  • Data modeling
  • Data Governance
  • Pipeline orchestration
  • Pipeline migration (Redshift to Iceberg)
  • Advanced SQL
  • Query optimization (Athena)
  • Ability to read legacy data processing code (PHP)
  • Spark, Iceberg, Athena, Redshift, Airflow, Dagster

We're looking for a collaborative engineer, able to iterate on designs & gather requirements. Someone who thrives in a dynamic project - and someone who's not afraid to dive into legacy (you may have spotted the PHP on the list). Does it sound like your cup of tea?
