DESCRIPTION OF THE SERVICES

• One consultant working on-site to augment Norges Bank Investment Management (“NBIM”)’s internal Security Operations team
• It is not preferred but service can be provided by two qualified consultants, however this will be rated lower than bids with one consultant providing the service.
• The total must be 80-100% FTE.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS

• Help with investigations of security alerts and apply security engineering principles to enhance threat analysis.
• Improve cloud security posture and security monitoring of containerized workloads.
• Contribute to developing security response related procedures and processes.
• Design, develop, and maintain advanced detection use-cases and automate security workflows to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

MAIN QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED

• Preferably a minimum of 3 years’ experience from operational security activities.
• Preferably experience working with Microsoft Sentinel, KQL and Logic Apps.
• Strong knowledge of security technologies and concepts. e.g., NGFW/IDS/IPS, EDR, e-mail filtering and analysis, Windows event logs, threat intelligence, etc.
• Experience from working in public cloud environments, preferably AWS and Entra ID.
• Structured and organized with the ability to take independent responsibility.

LANGUAGE
English is the working language of NBIM and fluent knowledge of written and spoken English is required.

• Please note that the price should include travel to Norges Bank’s Oslo office.
