Senior Python Engineer

The customer team is primarily focused on building self-service solutions. In this role you will join the team which is building automations and a self-service support platform to make sure that customers monthly users are able to get help as quickly as possible. The platform will allow to design self-service flows with a no-code solution, deploying them into the hands of customers in a matter of minutes.

Customer backend folks specialize in Python, utilizing the power of FastAPI and Flask, while also making the most of MongoDB and PostgreSQL. Your expertise in this area is vital and will be highly valued. Understanding the ins and outs of creating and maintaining scalable software services in production is essential, and your knowledge in this field is invaluable. Customer backend relies on Kubernetes in AWS, so if you're already familiar with these platforms or similar cloud infrastructure, that's a significant advantage.

However, it's not just about the technology; Customer is looking for for creative problem solvers with a product-oriented mindset. Customer values a person who enjoy collaborative efforts and effective communication.

Team is distributed in Helsinki and Berlin.
A Complete team of dedicated backup - UX&Design, Data Analyst and Data Scientists (ML), QA all working directly with this support team.

Requirements to this role:

• At least six years of commercial experience
• Python (at least 4 years)
• MongoDB
• Being able to write automated tests (unit, functional, integration)
• Very helpful to have experience developing on some other platform beside Python - e.g. NodeJs or FE
• Very helpful to have experience with k8s, AWS and Terraform

Team tech stack includes also Native Android and iOS so the experience from the above mentioned is seen as a plus.

Location: Helsinki preferred. One of the backends is working in Helsinki often. 1-2 days per week together with him onsite in Helsinki office required. But a solid candidate in Stockholm, Tallinn or Berlin can be considered.
