We are currently looking for a Senior Software Developer for our client in supply chain and logistics field. You would get a concrete change to work as a part of a global team, contribute the team ways of working and make a great impact on the current solution.

As a part of team working with optimization solution you would be enabling fast and reliable builds and pipelines. You would work concrete with containers. The team will also be responsible for the common development tools and configurations of the monolith.

We are especially looking for someone who has expertise with following things:

  • Strong experience in the Java Ecosystem, Java software development, and Java Build Tools.
  • In depth Gradle Build Tool knowledge.
  • Experience in building pipelines.
  • Maintain and develop services managed by Terraform and mainly deployed to K8s.
  • Drive to help others become more productive by providing easy and faster tools for them to use.
  • Willingness to explore new things and deepen your knowledge in the field of DPE (Developer Productivity Engineering).

Additionally if you have expertise with following things, it is a benefit:

  • Experience in other JVM languages such as Scala, Groovy, Kotlin or JRuby
  • Experience with JetBrains IntelliJ Platform Plugin SDK

Excellent communication and team working skills are needed as you would be working in a global team of other skilled developers. You would get a concrete change to learn more as well as putting your expertise into actual use in this client's team and development project.

Location is remote (+ occasional onsite in Helsinki is a benefit and valued highly!). Language is English.
