Senior Java Developer (PHP)

In this role you maintain and develop current PHP setup (Drupal) and Java backend replacement solutions. You also get involved with any migrations where needed. We are looking for candidate that has several years of experience from PHP developer role with preferably experience in Drupal. You are also a solid team player with positive attitude.

Must have skills:

  • Previous experience from PHP developer role
  • Solid background and experience in developing in Java Spring (Framework, Boot, Batch)
  • 5+ years of experience in development and software engineering
  • Strong collaboration skills and enjoy working in team-oriented atmosphere
  • Familiar with the latest technologies. E.g. Microservices, Docker, Kubernetes and DB2/Oracle
  • Hands on knowledge of CI/CD, Jenkins, GIT, Bitbucket, REST, Maven and JUnit

Nice to have skills:

  • Experience with Java Reactive Programming, Hibernate/JPA
  • Experience building highly available applications

Details:
Allocation: 100%
Start date: asap
Location: Helsinki. Team is working from the local office on a weekly basis.
Language: Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
