DESCRIPTION OF THE SERVICES
A full-time capable and detailed-oriented system tester to help establish a test plan and implement
and execute test cases for functional system testing of an inhouse application. The work is done as
part of a development team and the functional system testing is to be successfully completed by the
end of the engagement.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS:

  • Develop detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured functional test plan and test cases.
  • Conduct functional testing of the inhouse application including integrations to other systems to ensure system performance and reliability.
  • Identify, record, and document thoroughly any bugs or issues encountered during testing.
  • Review system requirements and track quality assurance metrics.
  • Collaborate with the development team to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
  • Understand and implement automated tests (mostly for APIs) if possible.

MAIN QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
Main competences (must have): 

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience with functional testing, including setting up and executing tests.
  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Experience with writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Collaborative skills. Need to collaborate with various team members to perform the functional testing.
  • Good skills in written and spoken English. 

Other relevant competences: 

  • Experience with Angular web framework is an advantage.
  • Experience with Python is an advantage.
  • Experience with Jira and Confluence is a plus.
  • Experience with automated testing tools for APIs is a plus.
