Senior Software Engineer

We are currently looking for a consultant to start working with our current client's platform development project. In this project you would be a part of project team that is developing a cross platform engine in C++ that powers data-intensive feature development (ML, algorithms and others)

Development of tools to support developers, data scientists and other stakeholders make use of said platform. You would be developing the platform as a whole but also supporting the development of core (non-UI) Swift and/or Kotlin components and migrating code from platform-specific implementations to the shared C++ core.

In general we are especially looking for someone who would have wide understanding of technologies and tools, pragmatic approach and mindset of creating scalable solutions is something that we are looking for this project. If you have previous expertise working with data and ML tools (eg. Python based tools especially) it is an advantage. C++ would be the main tech for the platform, so understanding of that is essential (or high willingness to learn that + expertise with similar techs).

Project would start would be as soon as possible, but we are definitely looking for the right person here! Project would be a long-term development project with 100% allocation (possibility to adjust of course with flexible working hours). Client has offices in Helsinki and Oulu but they are working in a hybrid mode in general (fully remote working outside Finland is not possible). Working language is English.
