Frontend Developer

We are looking for a Frontend Developer for our client in the banking industry.

The role:
• Working with business users to develop the overall look and design of our websites
• Ensuring that user experience determines design choices.
• Developing features to enhance the user experience.
• Ensuring web design is optimized for multiple platforms - laptops and smartphones
• Striking a balance between functional and aesthetic design.
• Building reusable code for future use.
• Optimizing web pages for maximum speed and scalability
• Utilizing a variety of markup languages to write web pages.

Skills and qualifications:
• Strong years of hands-on experience as a Front-End Developer
• Must have high competence with Angular framework, AngularJS experience is not suitable for this case.
• Proficiency with HTML, CSS, JavaScript and jQuery.
• Understanding of server-side CSS/SCSS.
• Understanding of key design principles, responsive and adaptive design and graphic design applications such as Adobe Illustrator.
• Understanding of SEO principles.

Location: Helsinki, onsite days on a weekly basis
