Data Engineer (with analytical skills)

Our long-term client is looking for a skilled consultant who would be helping sorting their data management challenges.

Our client is currently in a phase that they are creating future scenario combining data that is divided into multiple places in various ways, to help create more precise ways of driving business. In this project you would be acting in diverse role: working with current data solutions (pipelines, data lakes & tooling), helping creating the future scenario (all data that is divided into various places) to coordinate business decisions and then also creating ways of using data to help driving business.

In order to succeed in this role you should have some technical understanding on working with data solutions (AWS, Athena, Redshift, Google BigQuery, SQL) in order to understand the current solution. Besides this you should have hands-on experience creating functional solutions and ways of working that how data serves business - help client innovate and create tools / ways of working to make the data and information drive business decisions.

In this project you would be playing a crucial role in mapping the current solutions (focus on creating business scenario and technical skills you will have support from the client team!) and innovating the future scenario.

Project would be in hybrid mode (in Helsinki and remotely, outside Finland working is not possible!)
Language English + Finnish (not mandatory)

Project would start as soon as the right person is found, length is for the end of 06/2024 + possible extension.
